Hamstreet is staging a country show this summer for the 16th successful year, with more exciting events. Taking place on 4-5 June, the ever popular events will again feature large at the show: the Festival of Transport, British Lawnmower Racing Championships and the wartime USB.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s show will focus more on the family and feature events for all ages like the exciting mountain bike team which will be putting the cycles and the riders through their paces with daring displays of skills, jumps, twists and landings. Also interactive activities for children will provide educational fun for all the family.<\/p>\n
New to the show this year will be an amazing human statue so keep your eyes peeled for a farmer. For the dads, there will be up to 10 local ales available at the Real Ale festival and the ever popular dog show on the Saturday; will be open to dogs of all shapes, colours, breeds and sizes.<\/p>\n
Last year almost 10,000 visitors enjoyed the country show, raising in excess of \u00a320,000 for community causes. Committee organiser Mike Wady said: We are confident that we will exceed the number of visitors this year with an even more exciting range of events and attractions for all the family.
